Details: The wastewater treatment process is a biological process. The microorganisms are responsible for removing the nutrients from the wastewater; therefore, it is essential to understand the conditions that allow them to do their best work and to do their best to create these conditions. This webinar is the final in a series of webinars covering various topics on Wastewater Microbiology. In this webinar, the participants will learn the role of bacteria, protozoa, metazoa, and algae in the lagoon treatment process. The course will focus on the role of algae and how to identify the different types of algae. The participant will also understand conditions that contribute to algal blooms, along with possible corrective actions.
