Details: The wastewater treatment process is a biological process. The microorganisms are responsible for removing the nutrients from the wastewater; therefore, it is essential to understand the conditions that allow them to do their best work and to do their best to create these conditions. This webinar is the fourth in a series of webinars covering various topics on Wastewater Microbiology. In this webinar, participants will understand the role of phosphorus accumulating microorganisms in biological phosphorus removal processes and an understanding of the requirements of their grow11th and for enhanced phosphorus removal. The course also includes microbiological methods to monitor the system microbiology for favorable and unfavorable conditions.
