Details: The wastewater treatment process is a biological process. The microorganisms are responsible for removing the nutrients from the wastewater; therefore, it is essential to understand the conditions that allow them to do their best work and to do their best to create these conditions. This webinar is the third in a series of webinars covering various topics on Wastewater Microbiology. In this webinar, the objective of this course is to teach the operators, lab personnel, and consultants how to optimize the wastewater treatment plant processes using the microscope and knowledge of wastewater microbiology. This Unit includes developing a wastewater microbiology laboratory program and tools, techniques, and standard operating procedures used to perform wastewater microbiological analyses for treatment process control.
