Details: With so many Idaho systems applying for and receiving funding for projects this year, it is important to ask yourself, “Is our water/wastewater system ready?” This two-part series is designed for those who aren’t quite sure they are ready. In part 1, we will explore what funds are available and where to find information using DEQ’s switchboard. Attendees will learn what is typically asked of systems receiving federal funds and what to expect for the rollout. In part 2, DEQ staff will be present to take the class on a deeper look into the offerings of the Switchboard. As systems learn of typical SRF loan requirements, this section will be devoted to exploring the tools available on the Switchboard and how they can be applied to help the funding process. In addition, we will cover other useful resources available to operators in Idaho.
