Details: This six-hour class covers conventional and membrane filtration including bag filtration and reverse osmosis. The training will also discuss operations and maintenance of conventional filters and membranes filters and troubleshooting. Part of the training involves a tour of the City of Fruitland's Water Treatment Plant which was commissioned in 2010. It is a Pall Membrane facility with Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Beds for Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Taste and Odor reduction that can process 3 million gallons/day (MGD).
