Details: This six-hour class covers conventional and membrane filtration including bag filtration and reverse osmosis. The training will also discuss operations and maintenance of conventional filters and membranes filters and troubleshooting. Part of the training involves a tour of the Eastern Idaho Regional Waste Authority in Shelley which features a Dupont Memjet Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Treatment Facility rated at 2 million gallons per day (MGD). The facility services the communities of Ammon and Shelley along with areas of Bonneville and Bingham counties. Instructor: John Schwartz, USABlueBook. CEUs Earned: 0.6 Drinking Water/Wastewater.
