Details: Join fellow drinking water providers, land managers, agency personnel, and health and public safety officials to: • Learn about cyanotoxins, and identify watershed management strategies that reduce risks of cyanotoxin formation. • Strengthen relationships between water providers and emergency response agencies, and discuss cyanotoxin incident response roles and responsibilities. • Participate in an interactive emergency response table top exercise to improve response and protect public health from a cyanotoxin detection in finished drinking water. • Identify resources to help water systems prepare in the event of a cyanotoxin detection. No cost to attend, but advanced registration is required. Lunch is provided.
